Scott Bean has served with Insight for Living since April 2001. He began his tenure at the U.S. office serving in the international ministries department overseeing constituent relations. He and his wife, Kirsten, have been married thirteen years and and have four children. Before coming to Insight for Living, Scott, who holds a degree in Biblical Studies and Counselling, and his wife served as full-time missionaries. They were part of a mission organisation that led groups to Mexico and the Dominican Republic.

Whilst at Insight for Living USA, Scott worked as a liaison between IFL USA headquarters (primarily the Communications, Marketing, Information Technology, and Listener Ministries departments) and the Insight for Living international offices and ministry partner offices.

Scott and his family moved to the UK in March 2007 to establish the  Insight for Living UK ministry base in Surrey and work as the organisation's Executive Director.
